i bought some starter plants, outdoor soil, seed starting soil, and organic seeds. picked up a free crate from a warehouse, weatherproofed the outside and turned it into a raised plant bed which should last at least a full season.

starter plants include serranos, bell peppers, blackberries, roses, calla lilies, fuschia, sweet asyllum, mint, herb, spearmint.

i seeded zinnias outdoors, which are already sprouting after a few days. i seeded habaneros, lemon cucumbers, tomatillos, and zucchini squash indoors in peat pots, to be transplanted over the next few months outdoors. apparently they're sensitive when you transplant them, so i'll have to get them slowly used to the outdoors once it nears the time to transition. im so excited to see growth and learn how to prune and use natural pesticides!
